A Responsive Site for Kalman Jacob Furniture

What do you do when you notice your website is no longer ranking as high as it did in the past?

A couple of weeks ago, Digital Rose was contacted by Kalman Jacob Furniture, a local company that makes hand-crafted, one of a kind residential rustic pine furniture. KJF, a long time customer of ours, had noticed that their website was no longer showing on the first page of Google results. They asked if we had any suggestions for how to get back on the front page, and perhaps get some exposure in Calgary as well.

Their original site was built in 2008, and though designed well for that time, it now was likely suffering the results of some of Google's more recent algorithm changes - hence the change in their rankings. In order to help them improve their rankings, we redeveloped their site as responsive, and worked to improve their overall search engine optimization using meta metrics and best practices. It could take a little while for Google to re-crawl and re-rank their site, but we are confident they will soon notice a boost in their rankings.
